We are powerless against what we don’t understand.
The things we call “mysterious” exist outside our understanding and ability to influence. When we call something “mysterious” and walk away, we accept our ignorance and powerlessness over that thing. But, when we engage with a mystery and seek further understanding, we grow and expand our influence.
Unfortunately, we don’t always have access to the tools and knowledge we need to solve the mysteries in our lives.
When I was in college I would often procrastinate on my assignments until I was in tears from the stress. But I didn’t understand how procrastination worked, and the people around me didn’t know what aI was talking about, so I could only blame myself.
As far as I knew, there wasn’t anything more to know about it. As it turns out, there’s a lot to learn about this! But it took years of wading through messages of “just do it!” to get to the information that could actually help me. Resources like this in-depth guide created by the Amazing Marvin team.
It’s precisely because I’ve been there before that I don’t want all of you to go through the same thing. I want to be a resource to help you solve these mysteries and gain a little more control over your lives.
So let me know what you’re struggling with, whether it be related to productivity or neurodivergency. I’ll share what I’ve learned with you, and if it’s a mystery I haven’t solved yet, we’ll solve it together.
